The Vulp Butterfly Knife Balisong Trainer - The first trainer of Nabalis x Will Hirsch

Nabalis designs the Vulp in collaboration with Will Hirsch.

Its stylings and designs are similar to many classic balisongs, but the design gives the Vulp a style of its own.

The geometric patterns on the handles are inspired by Will's favorite feature, “Fox Logo”, and provide good grip in the necessary areas while flipping.

Bowie style suits Will’s taste and is used for the blade of Vulp trainer.

Even more to the point, some impressive jimpings on the bottom of the handles are added to create extra grip in this area, so as to help with “Ladders” learning.

In fact, many design details are intentional, targeting groups of flippers who are longing for getting into the hobby.

The balance is adjusted so that “Chaplins” is easier to successfully do and maintain, and the handles are spaced apart to prevent accidental pinching while
learning.

The ultimate purpose of the Vulp balisong/ butterfly knife trainer is to be one of the best entry-level options on the market, making it easier for anyone to learn and get into this fantastic hobby.

I worked very hard to create this trainer with all of the design features I would have wanted when learning. Lots of testing was done by me, my friends, or just random balisong community members. I took as much feedback as I could and I am honestly very proud of the final version. I hope you enjoy it too!

The Vulp has a high-quality bushing system, which has been professionally adjusted before selling to ensure a smooth swing and a suit flipping experience, no tap, barely any play!

Note: After long time flipping, it needs to be maintained and restored to its best condition by replacing the washers or tuning the bushings.
